The hills of Limburg and their slopes form the backdrop of the area in which he feels at home, and they are a great influence upon his work, both consciously and unconsciously.
Emotions are captured in seemingly abstract objects that hint at the shape of a living being. The highly polished sculptures sometimes work like a mirror in which one can glimpse the reflection of their surroundings. The patinated sculptures are more reserved and work more towards the shape.
