His work is often regarded as ‘biomorphic:’ recognisability expressed in abstract forms. He lets himself be inspired by everything he encounters in nature, like his preference for curves. The hills of Limburg and their slopes form the backdrop of the area in which he feels at home, and they are a great influence upon his work, both consciously and unconsciously.

Emotions are captured in seemingly abstract objects that hint at the shape of a living being. The highly polished sculptures sometimes work like a mirror in which one can glimpse the reflection of their surroundings. The patinated sculptures are more reserved and work more towards the shape.
